A Zombie Cat's Best Friend

The zombie cats are a great contributing force behind the zombie apocalypse. Many zombie cats adopt zombies as a sort of perverse edible pet. If you risk getting close enough, you'll even see chewing marks on some of the zombies.

Crazy zombie kitty

Love hurts ...

When a mother's love goes to far, kids lose an eye.
That doesn't sound right though ... it's kinda weird knowing that the mother of this kid actually suggested I take his eye out.

The apocalypse has no limits and anything goes

Zombie Mother of the Year?

Not only did she subject herself to getting zombified ... she got her husband, 2 sons and their pet cat to join the horde as well. This is a quality zomBmom if I ever drew one.

Here's a Story ... about Zombie Laurie . . .

This latest zombie is actually Laurie ... whose face I destroyed because I'm having a bad day. There are parts of this image I love and hate ... I wonder how Laurie feels.

Join the horde people ... I need you!

I want you to JOIN THE HORDE!

Hey guys! It's been about a week or so now since I've started up the 1000 zombies project and really started to try to take control of my life. There are still so many things that are threatening my mental well being, especially regarding work stuff ... aka ... this trainwreck I call my art career.

But whatever... life keeps going on and I'm being tested by the universe to see if I'll crumble again and hide out until someone else comes and solves my issues. So far I haven't crumbled but it's a razors edge.

I'm doing my best to get past this next hurdle, not get down on myself and keep feeding positive vibes to everyone that I come in contact with.

So you, right now, reading my words in your head ... thank you for being awesome! You've taken valuable time out of your precious life and spent it with me, in a way. Thank you.

The newest hurdle isn't that new actually, it's rather quite old and one day I hope it dies a quick and unnoticed death. It's the money hurdle again ... we have none and only enough food to last until the weekend is over, and on top of that I need to generate a couple of hundred so that I can get my middle child to a triple A baseball tournament next weekend.

I need to make some art sales in a big way. I'm really hoping more people want to get themselves a zombie portrait. It's as little as ten bucks and helps out in more ways than just one. I get money, you get an amazing zombie portrait created, the 1000 zombies art project gets 1 more zombie closer to completion and I also get to practice drawing zombie portraits. If you want to help, make a donation to paypal.me/byronrempel and then send me your mug shot.

I also found some really cool old art pieces from 3 or more years ago and I'm adding them to my store for a measely $20. Here's hoping to a few quick sales! http://thehorde.storenvy.com if you want to see what I have there.

Other than that, I'm working on the long term solution by putting my work on POD stores and getting books ready as well ... if anyone has other ideas that I should try, let me know.

Hhnnnnnngh ... Nay NAY muthafuka

It isn't hunger that drives this zombie ... it's the determination to do better today than it did yesterday, even if it means tearing through and destroying all those that prevent it from achieving it's goals.

NAY NAY MUTHA FUCKA

restarting the 1000 zombies project

The newest zombie portrait that marks the restart of the 1000 zombies project.
Not starting from scratch, starting from where we left off ... so what number is this zombie?
I need to figure that out :)

zombie 204 - Carls kid

Remember Carl? Zombie 203 ... well after he got infected and turned in to a member of the walking dead, he shambled back home and infected his kids.

zombie 203 - Carl

This is Carl and he likes to carry his food around with him.
This zombie portrait was probably created around 2015 ... I've come a long way since then.

zombie 196 - the son of John

This is the son of John, who was zombie # 161 on this project
I don't know what this kid is trying to say, it all sounds the same
"GarrrAaaahHHhhgarrrggaaaAaaaAawalaaahHHlL"

whatever

zombie 195 - Jeff

This pale green drooling dude is Jeff. The 195th zombie of the project.

Man I've come a long way since creating Jeff

Zombie 194 - Carls horde part 7

the last of Carls horde ... this guy was attacked by a cheese grater ... obviously not a very effective weapon against any zombie

zombie 193 - Carls horde part 6

Give him a bluish tint Carl said ... pop out his eye my son said ... throw in a bug my daughter said
and thus the 6th member of Carls horde was created.

Getting back to posting the remaining zombies of this project. Almost time to start making more and put this project to bed.

zombie 191 - Carls horde part 4

This is the first time I had a bird on someone ... I like it. Lucky for the zombie it hasn't grabbed his eye yet.

zombie 190 - Carls horde part 3

This is the third zombie of Carls horde ... I don't really remember what happened to him. It was either bird shot or a chemical spray.

zombie 189 - Carls horde part 2

This is another one of Carl's friends that he wanted zombified.
I got a little creative with the blow torch.

zombie 187 - Paul

the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out the worms play pinochle on your snout They eat your eyes, they eat your noes they eat the jelly between your toes
