Praise the Horde!

It was dark when I found her, exhausted and scared. She looked at me with tear filled eyes and I could almost taste her fear. She survived the initial wave of the apocalypse only to find herself alone, afraid, and hopelessly lost. I approached her with an offer of escape from the nightmare she couldn't wake up from. In her desperation a desperate decision was decided and she cautiously took my outstretched hand, a faint glimmer of hope in the red rimmed eyes.
I smiled and led her out of her darkness and in to my light.
She smiled back, eventually and without choice.

third in the resurrection

The third zombie portrait is complete and the re-resurrection of the 1000 zombies art project is well underway. There are a half dozen people in queue waiting to turn and I've managed to complete at least one new one per day so far. I really enjoy the direction the zombie portrait artwork has taken, to bad I can't capture the hues and shading properly, it looks much different in real life.
