Remember Carl? Zombie 203 ... well after he got infected and turned in to a member of the walking dead, he shambled back home and infected his kids.

This is Carl and he likes to carry his food around with him.
This zombie portrait was probably created around 2015 ... I've come a long way since then.

This is one guy who won't have to worry about another dental check up ever again ... thanks to the zombie apocalypse!

A zombie and his dog, every undead mans best friend.

zombie 179 - ?

The 179th zombie of this project. Quite a clean zombie, very minimal line use. Everything about this one is so different than what I am creating now that I have to stop and wonder why I was drawing this way ... evolution of art.

Still wearing her wedding dress, this bride of the undead wanders the apocalypse looking for her missing groom.

First it was a haunted sock monkey spreading the fear, now its a zombie monkey spreading the infection. Crazy monkeys.

zombie 161 - Johnnnnnnnnnny

Beware the infected haunted sock monkey.

It bites.

zombie 159 - Heather

Like something out of Hellraiser, Heather comes at your with her chattering teeth, ready to gnaw the flesh for your bones.

zombie 158 -Shawn

Shawn lost his friends when the apocalypse began. It didn't help that he ate a few of them. 

zombie 157 - Karen

When +Karen Elaine became a zombie the world was a sadder place.

Then we got over it.

She makes an awesome zombie.

zombie 156 - Charles

Charles thinks you look delicious ... now hold still!

zombie 150 - Ralph

Ralph was the kind of guy that always watched his back. To bad he didn't watch what was in front of him as well.

This is the 150th zombie of the project and also the end of a little mental slump. More details are starting to be picked out, and some of the fun was returning again.

This is the other daughter of Chad ... since most parents know that if you do something cool like get a zombie portrait for one kid, you might as well do it for both, otherwise there's whining, complaining, etc.

There should be a story with this zombie but I can't think of one right now. And my fingers are cold so I need to stop typing ... if you have a good story for this zombie, please post it in the comments and if I like it I might draw you as a zombie too.

zombie 111 - David

This is the One Hundred and Eleventh zombie of the 1000 zombies art project. Painted nearly 2 years ago in oil paints on canvas. It was a bit of a struggle painting David, the kids were really acting up that day and it took quite a while. In the end though I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I think oil and acrylic painting started my wide eyes trend that persists today.
